Risers of the week
All eight names here are barely rostered, and the last-10 fantasy points per game (FPG) numbers back up a real shift, not just noise.
- Rayan Rupert (PHI) 12.4 -> 30.3 FPG, +17.8. Minutes rising to 32.9 over his last 10, and usage is up to 20.64% over his last 5 against 12.92% on the season.
- John Konchar (NYK) 18.6 -> 34.7 FPG, +16.1. Minutes rising to 30.7 over his last 10.
- Jeremiah Fears (NOP) 26.2 -> 40.7 FPG, +14.5. Hot streak, plus a role change: 5 straight starts after a 0.2 prior start rate.
- Ousmane Dieng (MIL) 15.8 -> 30.0 FPG, +14.2. Hot streak with usage up to 24.55% over his last 5 against 19.48% on the season.
- Will Riley (WAS) 18.0 -> 31.9 FPG, +13.9. Minutes rising to 32.6 over his last 10.
- Leonard Miller (CHI) 15.2 -> 29.0 FPG, +13.9. Hot streak plus a role change: 5 straight starts after a 0.3 prior start rate.
- Cody Williams (MIN) 17.7 -> 30.7 FPG, +12.9. Hot streak with minutes rising to 35.2 over his last 10.
- Jericho Sims (MIL) 14.7 -> 27.1 FPG, +12.5. Role change: 5 straight starts after a 0.3 prior start rate.
Dieng is the sell-high here: the rise is a hot streak sitting on a smaller usage bump, and none of it is locked in yet. Fears is the real one, since the role change to a starting job came alongside the shooting spike, and both his minutes and usage moved with it.
All of these are small samples, last-10 or fewer games in most cases, so treat the ranking as a starting point for waiver claims, not a guarantee any of it holds.
