Williams was ruled out Thursday with his injury, and the Suns don't expect clarity for a while, with a return date listed as 2027-02-01. That is essentially a season-long absence for now.
Over 23 games without Williams, Fleming has averaged 13.18 FPG on 16.5 minutes, compared to 6.29 FPG on 9.0 minutes with him on the floor. Twenty-three games is a decent sample, and the direction is consistent: more minutes, more production.
Still, his overall numbers are thin. He's at 9.1 FPG on the season, ranked 411th under Zach's league scoring, and rostered in just 25% of leagues, so he's readily available. His last 10 games show 10.8 FPG on 16.6 minutes, both up from his season marks, which lines up with the reduced competition at center.
For props, rebounds and blocks are the categories that could move with more frontcourt run, though his shot volume has stayed light. Not a lock for lineups yet, but worth watching as Phoenix sorts its frontcourt rotation.
